Kerry Williamson, MA, LPC-S, LMFT-SKerry has been counseling students, adults, couples, families, and groups since 1994. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with masters’ degrees in Religious Education and in Marriage and Family Counseling, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. His first position as a full-time counselor at Christian Counseling Associates in Euless, Texas, soon expanded to include an administrative role when he was asked to direct the counseling center of eight therapists. He enjoyed supervising graduate students and developing a team that served the church and surrounding community. In 1998, Kerry was asked to join Intimate Life Ministries (ILM), so he and his family moved south to Austin. At ILM, he was given many new opportunities, such as leading four-day marriage intensives, speaking nationally at conferences, co-hosting a live radio program, consulting for management teams, and serving as a referral source for churches in central Texas. In June 2003, a new adventure began as Kerry opened his own practice and counseling center, Abundant Life Counseling Services, P.A. Today, he serves central Texas and surrounding cities with professional, Christian-based counseling for a variety of issues, including mood disorders associated with depression and anxiety, relational problems in marriages and families, and sexual issues such as sexual addiction and sexual struggles that couples face. Kerry and his wife, Rachel, have been married since 1990 and have four children.
